Apply for this job

Pulse Community Healthcare is looking for a support worker that is inspired to work (without supervision) in a setting that allows them independence in providing a standard of complex care to our clients. The majority of clients have now opted the care that had been provided for them in hospital to take place in the comfort of their home- meaning in their private home and in the local community.

You would work for 12 hour shifts with the option of working days or nights and availability to be flexible for weekends.

Our approach to care is that the relationship between the support worker and client should have consistency and continuity. We would like our support workers to be able to build a stable relationship with the client and so this is why many of our packages are a 1 to 1 approach. Given the nature of our approach our support workers are provided with the support they would need in order to perform to this standard of care.

We have the opportunity for you to attend our training (both mandatory and specialist) in order to cater specifically to our client's complex needs.

It is not a deterring factor if you have never had the experience of working in a community setting or have had the opportunity to work in such complex packages. Our training and shadow shifts will provide the support worker confidence to perform their role.

Our requirement for support workers is that we would need you to have 2 references that cover 2 years of your UK Healthcare experience.

As a support worker you will gain:

- Weekly pay

- Holiday pay

- Free mandatory and specialist training
