Children's Night Support Worker – Complex Care – Poole

Pulse Community Healthcare is searching for a skilled and enthusiastic female support worker to assist our client living with Cerebral Palsy.

Our client is a young male child who requires support with personal care; you will also be required to have excellent attention to detail and surroundings. To provide you with all the knowledge you need before you start, we are proud to offer the successful support worker specialist Epilepsy and manual handling training.

The shifts we are offering for this role are waking nights with regular hours; working 22:00 to 08:00 part time. This role also offers a competitive pay rate of £11 to £12 per hour.

As a Children's Night Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Children's Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
• Personal care
• Administering medication
• Oxygen therapy
• Assisting with pressure area care
• Oral suctioning
• General observations.

The ideal Children's Night Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
