Children's Female Support Worker – Complex Care – St Leonards, Dorset

Pulse Community Healthcare is searching for a caring and skilled female support worker to assist our young male client living with a severe skin condition.

The successful support worker will provide personal care and assist with various interventions such as administering medication. To support our clients various interventions, we are also proud to offer specialist respiratory training.

This role offers a competitive rate of £9.00 to £11.00 per hour and the hours vary and can be discussed at late stages of recruitment.

Due to the nature of the package and shift times a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred.

As a Children's Female Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Children's Female Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Personal care
• Administering medication
• Respiratory care
• Assisting with nutrition and hydration
• General observations.

The ideal Children's Female Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• A full UK driving licence
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
