Children's Female Support Worker – Poole

Pulse Community Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic support worker to assist our young female client with a neurological condition.

The successful support worker will provide personal care as well as any interventions our client may have; you will need to have excellent communication skills and be sensitive to our clients needs. Specialist respiratory training will be provided, giving you the chance to acquire new skills in order to meet all requirements for the role.

This role offers a competitive pay rate of £10 to £12 per hour. We have regular and stable waking night shifts available working 21:30 to 08:00 (Monday to Sunday).

As a Children's Female Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Children's Female Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
• Providing personal care to the client
• Respiratory care
• Enteral feeding
• Managing medication
• Moving and handling
• General observations

The ideal Children's Female Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
