Complex Care Support Worker - Gosforth

Pay rate: £9.02 per hour

Hours: Monday to Sunday – 7am to 7pm

Pulse Community Healthcare are currently recruiting for a competent and experienced support worker to join our team working within a complex care setting , providing high quality care to an individual within his own home.  

As a Support Worker with Pulse Community Healthcare you will ideally have a history of working within a clinical or complex care setting. In this particular package you will be providing care to a Male client with diagnoses of Cerebal Palsy. We are offering outstanding specialist training which will include PEG and Cough Assist.  

Our client enjoys engaging in the community and attending activities such as arts and crafts and social and leisure activities.

The ideal Support Worker will have:

  • A NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is preferred but not essential

  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care

  • A good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
