Female Children’s Support Worker – Complex Community Care – Poole
Pay: £13.20ph nights, £14.86ph weekends (inc hol pay)
Hours/shifts: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10pm until 8am (we can also provide additional shifts with other client’s in the surrounding areas)
I am currently recruiting for a compassionate and enthusiastic female children’s support worker looking to build up their experience to join a specialist community care package in Poole. You will work as part of a team of staff providing social and clinical support to a male child in his own home, who has a neurological condition.
As a children’s support worker you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the role you will perform. We will provide you with specialist training to allow you to perform clinical interventions related to our client’s condition; this includes dealing with nebulisers and respiratory management. In your role you will also maintain up to date client records, provide personal care, administer medication and communicate with both the client and your case manager.
The successful children’s support worker will have experience working in a similar role in a hospital or in the community working with clients who have complex care needs. This role requires someone to work waking nights (10pm until 8pm) Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
