Female Paediatric Healthcare Support Worker – Bromley, London
Pay: £12.43 per hour
Hours/shifts: Days 08:30 until 15:30 (Mon – Thurs) and 08:30 until 16:30 (Fri)


Pulse Community Healthcare are recruiting for experienced Healthcare support workers and Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to join our team in providing support to a female child with a respiratory condition and epilepsy, living in the family home. 

Support workers will have previous experience of working with tracheostomies, ventilators or other complex care needs, however specialist training will be provided dependant on the specific needs of the role.

As a Healthcare support worker with us, your duties will include:
• Complying with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
• Ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
• Supervising and monitoring standards of care and taking appropriate action to improve
standards when required
• Ensuring all documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places
• Performing clinical interventions related to our client’s condition

As a Healthcare support worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will:

• Have paid experience in as a support worker or healthcare assistant (HCA) in a community, residential or hospital setting 
• Have experience in clinical care
• Be committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential) 
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

All our support workers and healthcare assistants (HCA) will undertake specialist training to meet the specific needs of the role.
