Female Paediatric Support Worker – Complex Care – Solihull

Pulse Community Healthcare is searching for a caring and skilled support worker to assist our client living with a neurological disorder.

Our client is a male child and you will need to have a considerate and caring approach. The successful support worker will provide personal care and engage positively with our client to encourage independence and choice. We are proud to offer specialist training, offering you the knowledge you need before you start.

This role offers a competitive rate of £8.49 per hour and the hours available are 08:00 until 22:00 throughout the week.

As a Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Providing personal care to the client
• Dealing with light household duties
• Administering medication
• Assisting with nutrition and hydration

The ideal Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
