Female Support Worker – Complex Care - Congleton

Pulse Community Healthcare is currently recruiting for a skilled and compassionate support worker to provide 24 hour care to our female client.  

Our client is a young female who requires 24 hour care due to ventilation requirements. The successful support workers will be expected to provide respite and clinical support to the family as well as management of our clients various interventions. Outstanding specialist training will be provided; this will ensure our client’s needs are met and that your own skills are built upon.

This package offers options to progress, competitive pay rates up to £10.76, day and night shifts, 7 days a week.

As a Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Cough Assist

  • Diabetes Management

  • Medication (prompting or administering)

  • PEG

  • Ventilation

  • Tracheostomy

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)

  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
