Female Support Worker – Complex Care - Warrington

Pulse Community Healthcare is seeking a highly competent and experienced support worker to support a male individual with a spinal injury.

Our client is an adult male who likes to lead an active lifestyle; he enjoys visiting the social club and is very family orientated. Support Workers will be expected to assist with mobility, provide personal care and manage daily interventions for our client. We offer outstanding specialist training to make sure our client is fully supported and provide an opportunity for career progression.

We are offering highly competitive pay rates up to £14 per hour and shifts will be 11 and a half hours long, 7 nights a week.

As a Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Encouraging Independence in the community

  • Providing personal care to the client

  • Ventilation

  • Manual Handling

  • Tracheostomy care and management

  • Suction.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)

  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
