Support Worker, Neurological Conditions – King’s Lynn

Pulse Community Healthcare is in search of a skilled and experienced support worker in supporting our client.  Our female client has multiple sclerosis, therefore we require a proactive and outgoing support worker as our client enjoys going out in the community and socialising. 

The successful support worker would be expected to provide personal care, manage various clinical interventions and assist in the community.  Specialist training would be provided allowing you to effectively meet the care needs of the client. 

This role involves a variety of shifts and is offering a competitive rate of pay of £8.54 per hour.  Due to the nature of this role, a UK driving license and car is essential.

As a Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care to the client
  • Managing complex clinical interventions
  • Assisting with activities
  • Supporting the client in the community.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
