Female Support Worker – Complex Community Care - Warrington

Pulse Community Healthcare are seeking skilled and compassionate support workers to support our male client  who has complex needs ranging from physical disabilities and respiratory conditions.  To support this package you will be provided with specialist training across a range of clinical skills including; suctioning, enteral feeding, epilepsy and respiratory.

In your role as Support Worker you will work within a small team to provide complex care and support to this client in their own home. You will assist with physical and emotional support, empowering them to maintain independence. In this role we are recruiting for support workers to work night shifts, offering a pay rate of up to £20.42 per hour.

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care to the client
  • Medication
  • Moving and handling
  • Epilepsy management
  • Suctioning/Gastrostomy

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
