Healthcare Support Worker
Pay: £10.65 - £13.45 per hour including holiday pay
Shifts: 5 hour support shift (hours will change on a rota basis)
Pulse Community Healthcare are recruiting for a experienced healthcare support workers to join our team in providing support to our client . The successful Healthcare Support Worker will join our team supporting our female client in her family home. Our client is living with a neurological condition and requires 24/7 care. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work alongside another member of staff to assist with personal care, food prep, using cough assist and working with other clinical interventions. Full specialist training, specific to the client’s needs will be provided.
As a Healthcare Support Worker with us, your duties will include:
- Dealing with oral suctioning
- Working with non-invasive ventilation
- Providing personal care
- Dealing with pressure area care
- Administering medication
- Working with tracheostomy care
As a Healthcare Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will:
Have paid experience in as a support worker or healthcare assistant (HCA) in a community, residential or hospital setting
Have experience in clinical care
Be committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care
A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
Good knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
All our support workers and healthcare assistants (HCA) will undertake specialist training to meet the specific needs of the role.
