Male Bank Healthcare Support Worker - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear
Pay: £10.65 - £16.28 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Pulse Community Healthcare are recruiting for experienced support workers and healthcare assistants (HCA), to join our team in providing social and clinical support to vulnerable children and adults with complex care needs.
The successful healthcare support worker will join our team working with our clients in their own home, who are living with complex care needs. As a healthcare support worker, your duties will include but are not limited to; personal care, manual handling, administering medication and working with complex clinical interventions. Full specialist training will be provided to the successful support worker dependant on the specific needs of the role.
Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:
• Personal care
• Administer/prompt medication
• Manual handling
• Continence care
• Bowel management
• Enteral feeding
• Basic observations.

As a Healthcare support worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will:
•Have experience in clinical care
•Be committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care
•A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
•Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
