Night Female Support Worker Learning Disabilities and Autism
Hours/shifts: 21.00 – 07.00 7 nights per week
Pulse Community Healthcare are recruiting for a friendly healthcare support worker who has experience of working with learning disabilities and autism and epilepsy.
Working a waking night shift you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our female client. Duties will involve undertaking regular observations, administering rescue medication when necessary and providing any occasional practical help. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a relationship with a fantastic client who enjoys a variety of different interests including exotic animals.

As a healthcare support worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will:
- Have paid experience in as a support worker or healthcare assistant (HCA) in a community, residential or hospital setting
- Have experience in clinical care
- Be committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care
- A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
All our support workers and healthcare assistants (HCA) will undertake specialist training to meet the specific needs of the role.
