Night Support Worker – Complex Care – Cardiff

Pulse Community Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic support worker to assist our young male client living with a neuromuscular disorder.

The successful support worker will be working 2:1, provide personal care and assistance with any mobilising. Previous experience in care work is desirable and full specialist training, relating to our clients condition, will be provided.

The hours available are waking night shifts working 20:00 until 08:00 (Monday to Thursday). This role has a competitive pay rates of £8.99 per hour.

As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
• Providing personal care to the client
• Administering medication
• Respiratory care
• General observations.

The ideal Night Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
