Job Title – Support Worker – Barry

Hours – 12 hour days 8am -8pm and 12 hour nights 8pm till 8am  on a 1-1 basis.

Pay rate – £8.49 - £11.50

Pulse Community Healthcare currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to work on a care package in the Barry area, supporting a female client who suffers with Multiple Sclerosis. The lady lives with her husband and has a very close family unit. Specialist training will be provided. Additional shifts of 4 hours for a second support worker are available in the morning and evening to assist with personal care and moving and handling. These shifts are 8am -12pm and 6pm -10pm

    The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent  is preferred but not essential

  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team

  • A good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
