Support Worker – Barry, Vale of Glamorgan

Hours – Variety of shifts (day and night) – 7 days a week

Pay Rate - £8.95 - £9.07 per hour

Are you a support worker  looking for a new role? Do you have experience with motor neurone disease?  Pulse Community Healthcare has a great opportunity for a support worker to join our team in supporting our female client. Daily duties include personal care and day to day care. We are looking for a support worker with a positive, caring attitude to help encourage our client’s independence in her home and community.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent  is preferred but not essential

  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team

  • A good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
