12 hour day shifts 5 days per week with 1 client

We have a new vacancy for a professional and friendly support worker carer to help support our female service user based in Ealing - West London.

You must be a hardworking and committed individual with a desire to care and a willingness to learn, displaying a consistent high level of attentiveness whilst in care of the service user.

Our client will need your assistance with daily life as she is epileptic and also lives with learning disability, and your role as a support worker carer would be to support and encourage her communication and social interactions. Experience with learning disabilities and epilepsy would be beneficial though not essential as free training is provided.

Requirements of the support worker carer role:
• Must have recent UK care experience
• Must have an excellent level of written and oral English
• Must be flexible, caring and passionate about care
• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
• Willingness to attend our Mandatory and relevant specialist training

The role:
• Complex clinical interventions
• Undertaking personal care
• Administering medication
• Documenting and recording observations
• Support clients to live independently within the community
• Light housekeeping
