Support Worker - Ipswich

Hours – 09:00 – 21:00 – 21:00 – 08:00

Pay rate – £9.12 Day rate - £10.12 night rate

Pulse Community Healthcare has a rewarding opportunity for support workers to join our team in supporting our male client.  Duties would include supporting with personal care, medication, various clinical interventions, accessing the community and attending various day centres.  The client is a young gentleman who has profound physical and learning disabilities.  Staff need to be proactive in supporting this young man at home and in the community.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent  is preferred but not essential
  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
  • A good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
