Support Worker – North Tyneside

Hours – variety of hours Mon- Sun: 6pm- 7am, 7 am – 7:30pm, 9am – 10am, 2pm – 3pm, 9:30pm – 10:30pm

Pay Rate: £8.41 per hour

We have a great opportunity for a support worker to join our team in supporting our elderly female client. Our client is a lovely lady who has a keen interest in animals especially her pet birds. We would like our support worker to have patience as our client can sometimes have challenging behaviour due to frequent confusion. We are looking for a support working who has a good sense of humour, positive attitude and is consistent.

The ideal Support Worker will have:

•              A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent  is preferred but not essential

•              UK paid experience in Health and Social Care

•              Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•              Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team

•              A good understanding of professional boundaries

•              Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
