Job Title – Support Worker - Nights

Hours – Nights

Pay rate – £10.12

We have a great opportunity for a support worker to join our team working with our client in Bunwell. Our client is a young boy who has Pfeiffers Syndrome; our client enjoys a range of activities which include: a love for all kinds of animals enjoys playing with tractors, cars and trains. Our client also likes to read books and play with his twin sister as well as his mum and dad. Our client is a very confident young boy who wants to be involved in everything.

The successful support worker will need to be patient and understanding with a caring and supportive attitude. The support workers duties will include: Tracheostomy care, tracheal suctioning, medication and nebuliser support. Specialist training will be provided for respiratory care.

    The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent  is preferred but not essential

  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team

  • A good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
