Female Support Worker Nights – Complex Care - Poole

Pulse Community Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic female support worker to assist our young male client living with a rare respiratory condition. 

The successful support worker will provide personal care as well be responsible for any interventions our client may have, at his family home. Due to the risks associated with our client’s condition you will need to have excellent attention to detail. As a leading complex care agency, we are proud to offer specialist respiratory training, giving you the chance to acquire the skills required.

We are offering waking night shifts working Monday to Sunday (22:00 until 08:00) with a competitive pay rate of £10.00 to £12.00 per hour.

As a Female Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Female Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
• Personal care
• Medication
• Respiratory care
• Enteral feeding
• General observations.

The ideal Female Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
