Job Title – Support Worker – Rochester
Hours – 8am to 8pm 7 days a week
Pay rate – £10 per hour

We have a great opportunity for a support worker to join our team working with our client in Rochester. Our client is a female with MS, she is a very independent young woman who runs her own charity for children with disability’s. Our client also has a strong interest in writing and and she is requesting a female support worker for this role.
The successful support worker will need to be patient and understanding with a caring and supportive attitude. The support workers duties will include care of the following: Personal care, support to mobilise, continence care, pressure area care, Medication administration.

The ideal support worker will have:
A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is preferred but not essential
UK paid experience in Health and Social Care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
A good understanding of professional boundaries
Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
