Support Worker – Spinal Injury – Northallerton
Pulse Community Healthcare is seeking skilled and compassionate support workers to support our client living with a spinal injury.
As our client leads an independent lifestyle we are looking a for support worker who will actively encourage him to access the community and support within a daily routine. Any necessary specialist training will be provided, allowing you to effectively meet all of the client’s care needs and develop your own skills.
This package involves day shifts and drop in shifts, with pay rates of up to £8.01 per hour with mileage to be discussed. Holiday pay will be paid in addition to standard pay rate.

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
The ideal support worker will have:
A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of professional boundaries
Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
