Healthcare Assistant, Physical Disabilities – Ipswich

Pulse Community Healthcare has a fantastic opportunity for healthcare assistant to support our clients with physical disabilities.  The successful healthcare assistant would be working within a team caring for our young male brothers.  Our clients have various hobbies including football, attending car shows and collecting model trains and cars.  

Daily duties for the successful healthcare assistant would include personal care, assistance with mobility, and management of our clients various interventions to their condition. 

 This role has a variety of shifts available and is offering competitive rates of up to £10.12 per hour.  Due to the nature of this package a UK driving license and access to a car is essential.

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care to the clients
  • Assisting with mobility
  • Managing complex clinical interventions
  • Assisting in the community.

The ideal Healthcare Assistant will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • A UK driving license and access to a car
  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
