Healthcare Support Worker
Pay:  £11.50 - £14.52
Monday-Sunday Days 8am – 8pm  

Monday-Sunday Nights 8pm – 8am

Role location: Gillingham

Pulse Community Healthcare are recruiting for experienced healthcare support workers and healthcare assistants (HCA), to join our team in providing support to our female client living with a neurological and respiratory condition. Our client has comprehensive physical needs including tracheostomy care, PEG, cough assist and ventilation.

As a healthcare support worker with us, your duties will include:

  • Providing tracheostomy care

  • Dealing with gastrostomy feeding and care

  • Woking with oxygen and a nebuliser

  • Working with a ventilator

  • Undertaking clinical observations

  • Providing pressure area care

As a healthcare support worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will:

  • Have worked as a support worker or healthcare assistant (HCA) in a community, residential or hospital setting

  • Have paid experience in working with complex health needs which may include: tracheostomy, peg, taking blood, patient observations, ventilator oxygen etc

  • Be committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
