Live In Female Support Worker - Ellerton

Pulse Community Healthcare is searching for a fun and creative support worker for a live in role to assist our client living with a spinal injury.

Our client is an elderly female who lives in the family home and enjoys spending time with her young grandchildren. The successful support worker will be required to assist our client with her daily routine and encourage independence. Due to the demands of the role we are happy to offer outstanding specialist spinal training.

We are happy to offer a competitive pay rate of up to £8.50 per hour, holiday pay will be paid in addition to standard pay rate. The successful support worker will ideally hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care

  • Managing medication

  • Pressure area care

  • Providing continence care.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)

  • Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK

  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good understanding of professional boundaries

  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
