Male Live In Support Worker – Bristol

Pulse Community Healthcare is searching for a sociable and caring support worker for a live in role and to assist our client living with a genetic disorder as well as lung, kidney and bowel disorders.

The successful support worker may be expected to provide personal care, respiratory care, moving and handling and daily tasks. Due to the nature of our clients condition moving and handling needs to be performed with extra caution and care. We are proud to offer specialist training related to our clients condition and various health concerns, providing you with all the knowledge you need before you start.

We are offering a competitive pay rate of up to £1205 per week.

Due to the nature of the package and shift times a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

As a Male Live In Support Worker for Pulse Community Healthcare you will benefit from:

As a Male Live In Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Providing personal care to the client
• Moving and handling
• Administering medication
• Respiratory care
• General observations.

The Male ideal Live in Support Worker will have:
• A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
• Previous paid experience in Health and Social Care in the UK
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of professional boundaries
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team.
